Year of Madness

Remember when we thought 2016 was a bad year? But… what was the most terrible that year. Bernstein-Rein was charging up for a more interesting holiday card than other agencies, and from this question came the idea for the Year of Madness. I was heavily involved in concepting and as copywriter on this festive project.
Bernstein-Rein earned a mention in AdWeek’s list of best agency holiday cards of 2016.
Being offered 16 of the worst events from 2016, the user gets to vote for the worst event in each bracket every week to determine the overall winner. We would then make a charitable contribution to a philanthropy working to ameliorate that issue.

The winner turned out to be the Presidential Election–surprise!
