Every new product and sale is an opportunity to create a radio piece to get the word out. Here are a few spots I concepted and wrote for McDonald’s.

McDonald’s Radio

The cult classic McRib was back for a limited time, but how to get the word out? We decided to create a whole new holiday season around the event–McRib Season!

For the radio component of the campaign, I followed in my hero Barry Manilow’s footsteps. I wrote/composed and directed a jingle to celebrate the indulgence of the season. It turned out to be a real earworm. I later added a few extra verses when we hired carolers to stroll the Kansas City area performing the song handing out branded McRib sweaters.
